Also got hold of Heroes Die by MW Stover as it's constantly gotten rave reviews from a number of members of another forum :cool: Oh also Ishiguro's Remains of the Day was in the same order.


Am going to go look for some historical fiction soon. Guess I'll need to finish Chickenhawk at some point even if it seems a tad technical in places.

Store had a sale on some classics soo:

And the whole purpose of going to the book store was to get Something Wicked This Way Comes by Ray Bradbury but they didn't have it. So I got From the Dust Returned by Ray Bradbury instead

Today I bought:

The Devil's Mode - Anthony Burgess
The Hours - Michael Cunningham

And my mum got me Baking: A Commonsense Guide for me for my birthday, and so far I've racked up £45 of book tokens. Add that to what I've already got and it looks like I'm going on a Borders trip when I get back to Glasgow. :D
