Drink and the DEVIL had done for the rest

The mate was fixed by the bosun's pike
The bosun brained with a marlinspike
And cookey's throat was marked belike
It had been gripped by fingers ten;

steffee, the party is for everyone. Start whatever you like. 
That dancing woman, Tundra, on the table doesn't like my "shine". Someone give her a bottle of sofia's Vinho Verde, that should loosen her up.
I feel a little ill. Where is Dogma when you need her.

Still, having spilled her whatever-that-was-she-was-attempting-to-eat-there, and having accidentally slopped her second martini about just a tiny bit, has taken up the ice bucket, along with her capacious handbag -- without which elegant object she is rarely seen -- and has quietly retired to the one available bathroom wherein she will proceed to sober up a wee bit and to make some minor (and really, only marginally necessary) repairs to her makeup and clothing; and from whence she will return glorious and betimes to the soiree -- cheerfully bearing aloft a nail file which she will have found in the medicine cabinet (in which she will have been innocently searching for a band-aid) and which she will tenderly tender up to her gracious host, muggle, who may be needing it by then for both of his broken thumbnails.
Aside: The above scene may actually (in part) be one reason for that nice man with the wild eyes and the casual clothing having um, somewhat moistened his nether apparel. The bathroom door has been not only locked, but also barred and bolted from the inside for several hours now.
Still may have actually grabbed a stray bottle of Tanqueray on her way inside. It's kind of hard to tell what she caries in that huge purse.
You may also envision Tom Sawyer rummaging in a paintbox, swilling lemonade, and whitewashing a fence if you prefer that picture.

And when you return please bring 6 more bottles of wine, all 6 this time as the moonshine is running low.....and.....believe it or not, sofia does not have an unlimited supply of Vinho Verde.
Where are all the chaperones, none have participated yet. Methinks they need some shine to loosen them up.
