Anyone here a fan of the Monkey Island games or.....

Cheers for the links guys. Walhey, on that link you've given me I note that certain games are "esa protected" and unavailable for download. There must be a way of getting them. I'll try Limewire but if anyone has alink to a dowloadable version of broken Sword 1 or 2 that'd be great. Cheers.

    no big deal but..............

I had posted a thread about books we were forced to read at school. Someone posted then that there was already a thread about this. When I looked the last post on the older thread was way back in December 2003. Next time I looked for my thread it had been merged with that old one and my post...

Books you were forced to read at school!

Books you had to study at school - which did you like and which did you dislike? I think the only book we studied which I enjoyed was Dickens' Great Expectations. I didnt enjoy Shakespeare and books like Scoop by Evelyn Waugh and The Inheritors by William Golding were just dreadful. What...

Anyone read any James Herbert recently?

I used to enjoy his books when I was a youngster. Rats, Lair, Ghosts of Sleath, Creed etc were all cracking reads when I was in my teens. Havent heard much about him in recent years, in fact I dont even know if he's still alive. Anyone read anything more recent by him or got any thoughts...

    Dan Brown: Angels And Demons

I agree Sirmyk. I'd say Digital Fortess was his worst.

Great mysteries of our time debate - episode 1

I believe in the existence of spirits and supernatural entities. I believe in the existence of God, Angels, the devil and his emissaries and I think that with all of people's experiences down the ages they cant ALL be explained scientifically or secularly. I just think it's far more likely...

Great mysteries of our time debate - episode 1

I'll try to post a series of topics here in general discussion which will spark a bit of lively, and hopefully intelligent, debate. Here's the 1st one for discussion: What is your opinion on the existence of ghosts or any supernatural entities and/or realms? As a lot of books have the...

I'm sure it's better than the bland mid range weather here in Scotland where the summers are mostly grey and overcast and the winters are mostly.....erm.....grey and overcast. :)

    A Public "Hall of Shame"?

even if it is a bit of a slanging match it keeps it away from the rest of the forum. a good few forums have a similar type of thing. and if it gets out of hand just take action against the posters responsible as in any of the other forums.

    A Public "Hall of Shame"?

Darren, I dont think it would be particularly beneficial like that. If it is a read only forum people will seek to debate the ban in general discussion anyway. Perhaps if it wasn't read only people would take debates and discussions about how the board is run, bannings etc onto that forum...

    TBF Moderation

yes it's neccesary at times but on some forums mods move things when theres no need, thats all I'm getting at.
