    Sinema: The Northumberland Massacre

Hi, guys, Ahead of the up and coming release of the sequel (around June), I just thought I'd let those who haven't read Sinema: The Northumberland Massacre yet that it is currently reduced on Amazon Kindle to only 71p. Sinema: The Northumberland Massacre eBook: Rod Glenn: Amazon.co.uk...

    Publish America: Making Books

No problem. I hope she manages to hook an agent and/or a decent publisher.

    Publish America: Making Books

With 3 books under her belt I would recommend that she has another crack at traditional presses - try the small independents if she doesn't have an agent. After the success of my second novel, Sinema, I have now managed to get a traditional press interested in The King of America. A new...

    Bye bye Paul

Both excellent films, as is Road to Perdition. One of his last film roles and he acted Tom Hanks off the screen.

    First chapter of possible novel...

We can all get a little defensive over our work, but you have to learn to take the good with the bad and at least try to accept it as people offering small pieces of help or advice. I have been defensive in the past defending some of my earlier work, but even if I don't always agree I do still...

    Stephen King

I love most SK books, but for me IT, Needful Things and Desperation probably come top of the list followed closely by The Stand and The Dark Tower series. Controvertially I liked Cell (even though it does have a lot of similarities with The Stand) and From a Buick 8 which a lot of people didn't...

    Is it finished

Got to agree with Eva here - it is extremely important to set aside your MS after finishing the first draft. Let it stew for a couple of months and move on to a completely different project. Then when you go back to it you do so with fresh eyes.

    First chapter of possible novel...

Looks to me like Flueretta answered your call and was good enough to offer a suggestion to try to improve your work, which is the reason you posted it on here, right? To then attack her for doing so seems a little unsporting.

J.R.R. Tolkien: The Lord Of The Rings

Peter Jackson will be co-writing and producing, but will not be directing. That will go to Sam Raimi and/or del Toro (as they will be made at the same time they may get one directing each part).

    Last seen...

I'm a big John Carpenter fan - The Thing is one of his best. I've watched it dozens of times over the years. I watched Rise of the Foot Soldier the other night. It was ok, but without a single character to like in it I found myself not caring really.
