Bye bye Paul

Some of his later movies were superb. As he aged he went right on bringing us himself.

As a resident of Connecticut I never saw Paul Newman, but felt his influence. His profits from Newman's Own (tomato sauce, salad dressing, popcorn) all went to charity, much of it local. His foundation was a strong supporter of local cultural events.

Sorry...I'm ehhh..Dutch? Too young? I don't know.

You're missing out. If you get a chance you should watch a couple. Definitely Cool Hand Luke and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. You can't go wrong with Paul Newman and Robert Redford on screen together.

Both excellent films, as is Road to Perdition. One of his last film roles and he acted Tom Hanks off the screen.
