I hope there were no bright lights, water cannons, or concession stand after midnight :innocent:

Fake reviewers on the attack on Amazon

I don't understand how writing a negative review for someone else's book will improve your sales. It is not as if someone will not read your book because they are reading this one other book. I just do not see the point to starting a smeer campaign against other books.

    Stephen King: Duma Key

Loved the characters although some of the dialogue was a bit cheesy (like when they scream out in anger). "Blue F@#k" Never heard that one before. The ending was a little bit of a let down, and I felt the same way with Under the Dome, but all in all I thought the book was really good :stars4:

This was one of the classic movies from my childhood. I fear if I watch it now I might agree with you, but that is why I will leave it in the limelight in my memories.

Leonie Swann - Three Bags Full: A Sheep Detective Story

At first I was drawn to the book because the binding reminded me of Men Who Stare at Goats, so I picked it up and read the description. It said it was about a flock of sheep that is determined to uncover the murder of their shepard, and the book is exactly that. How could I not read this book...

    Favorite Actor

This seems like a very obscure favorite actor in the sense that he is not terribly famous. I love his acting in Numb3rs (R.I.P.), but all else I remember seeing him in were cameos. I feel like I am missing out on some of his roles. Can you recommend some movies where he shines?

    Stephen King: Under the Dome

I just finished Under the Dome and I thought it was amazing. I loved all the character development, and I was genuinely sad to see a few of them go, while others I found myself wishing they met an early demise (a little sadistic, but thats alright...right?). I agree that the origin of the dome...

"Put the bunny back in the box." Con Air may be one of the greatest cheesy action movies of all time.

How Does Writing Make You Feel?

Writing kinda makes me feel funny, like when we used to climb the rope in gym class.

All the reasons to say buy the physical book that is also availabe for free online.

I consider myself a collector (not to the point of clutter, but I like to complete sets), and from that aspect I would like to own the books I read, even if I already read it for free. I do the same thing with music, even though I can download songs for free, if I like them I buy the CD. You...

    Ereaders and their fans

I personally do not mind reading books in the electronic format, but I fail to see myself completely abandoning printed books, but I am still young, times can change. As far as replacing all your printed books with e-books, the thought keeps coming to mind of an updated Twilight Zone episode...

I just saw Funny People (I know I am a little late with this one) and I thought it was great. I don't usually like Judd Apatow movies, but I am a fan of Adam Sandler, and it was just a good movie. The highlight being Eminem at the bar flipping out on Ray Romano.

    Mark Twain

Mark Twain, hands down, has the best quotes of anyone who has ever spoke/wrote! My personal favorite being... "All generalizations are false, including this one." - Mark Twain.

    H. G. Wells

H.G. Wells wrote two of my favorite sci-fi novels, The Time Machine and Island of Dr. Moreau, but he also wrote one of my least favorite books of all time, The War of the Worlds, and for this I never really explored anything else he had written. I think I am finally up to forgive him and try...

    Newsweek: Dumb Things Americans Believe

You just can not beat that logic, I wonder what other things we were assuming were true that just aren't...does anyone want to revisit the whole flat earth thing? We need Limbaugh to tell us what is what, and then Clinton to define what "is" is in reference to the Rush definition. Politics can...

    stupidest movie ever

Babylon A.D. I am still not sure why they made that movie, or better yet why I watched the movie to the end.

    TV box set dvd's

I have a bunch of DVD sets, but my highlights include Ducktales, Darkwing Duck, the X-Men cartoon, and Megaman. Being an adult does not mean that you stop watching cartoons, it just means you have alot more money to support your habbit. Just a warning if you have never seen Heroes, there is...
