it would be easier to mention the music i dislike rather than what i do like!lol! i can't stand the majority of manufactured pop music, i prefer real music by real bands that play their own instruments!lol! I love classical/modern orchestral music too (esp Gladiator ST). Very big fan of The...

Who is your favourite author, and why?

I like a lot of authors so it would be hard to find a favourite, I like Chris Ryan, Andy McNab, John Grisham, Tom Clancy, Dale Brown and Stephen Coonts. I also like the works of William F. Owen (Blackfoot is Missing is an excellent read!). Nick Pope, Jeffrey Deaver and Gerald Seymour also...

    Peter Kay

Peter Kay is a comedy genius! He's got a talent for using humour to make money so why not churn out the occasional turd like phoenix nights if its going to make him a wad of cash! His live shows are amazing, he is spot on with all he says, you know its all true and i guess he just makes us all...

    John Grisham

i was quite fortunate in that i read the books well before seeing the films! It seems that Hollywood still underestimates the attention spans, intelligence and memory retention of the audience! (although having seen some examples of today's youth via my local town they could actually be being...

    Nick Pope

I recently read a fantastic book by a British author, the book was called Operation Thunderchild and was written by an ex-government advisor called Nick Pope. He worked for the Ministry of Defence and dealt with U.F.O. sightings and the like, his books are fiction based loosely on fact (mainly...

    John Grisham

one of his better books! i couldn't choose a favourite of his, though there are several i find myself returning to quite often. The Client, The Firm and The King of Torts would have to be his best (IMHO)lol!

    Dale Brown

His early stuff was very good, it seems that as his ideas for an advanced military capability have advanced, so has his excessive use of terminology! There were some concepts that i found very hard to believe, his early books (up to Battle Born) were very believable, that was what gave him the...

    Tom Clancy

I recently read Teeth of the Tiger, thought it was pretty good, anyone else have an opinion?

    John Grisham

The Brethren was ok, although its hard to compare all his books as they are all so good! For him it was average, but its still a class above the other authors i've read in the same genre. I must admit that I was impressed by The Testament, it was different enough to make it interesting yet still...
