I'm a Catholic and my sister studied Theology. Yes, there were books that weren't included long long time ago (even before Vatican) because they weren't considered sacred scriptures. I hope that answers your question.

I feel... Relief, if the books is too long. But when it's short and I really loved it, I would say 'that's it?' But if it's a fast-paced book like Sidney Sheldon's, I feel like I'm catching my breath. :rolleyes:
