Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince - Discussion *Spoiler Alert*

I say Snape is on Snape's side. He can play the double agent so well, probably because his only loyality is too himself, and to whatever paths suit his purpose at the moment.

    A few questions

I don't think its possible to floo into Hogwarts. I know you can travel from room to room, but there's no instance of another character flooing in from outside the building. Even parents have to walk up the front drive to get in [ ootp ]. The building is probably on a closed network, for...

A question for parents of small children

The twins had a bunch of Baby Einstein tapes. They were a waste of money, I can tell you that much. They had one where a narrator just read off the alphabets of different languages, while a top or pinwheel spun in the background. They didn't put anything in context or even tell you what language...

    Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle

I loved Mrs. Piggle-wiggle! We read them in grammer school. You know, I didn't really think about it until now, but those were the first books I'd read that dealt with death (the passing of Mr. Piggle-wiggle, although he died before the series takes place, makes many of the events in the...

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince - Discussion *Spoiler Alert*

I think it was the way it was built up. By the time I read it, I was like "oh, big deal." It wasn't really important to the plot in the end, was it? I mean, to me it felt kinda tacked on.

    Which book scared you?

When I was in elementary school the library always donated books to the local classes on holidays. One of the Halloween books was a collection of rhymes that clearly no-one bothered to read before they sent it over, because it was full of poems about goblins and man who kill children, with lines...
