Are you a nerd, a geek or a dork?

Someone posted this quiz on another forum that I belong to (a non book-related forum), and I was very embarrassed about my results, as just about everyone else came out as 'Joe Normal'. http://www.okcupid.com/tests/take?testid=9935030990046738815 Here were my results: Tri-Lamb Material...

    Any Open University students here?

I just wondered if there are any ex or current Open University students here? Or, for that matter, anyone considering a course with the OU?

Well, this is a strange novel to say the least! This belongs in the 'serial killer/whodunnit genre' but has rather a strange twist - the narrator is a serial killer himself, and finds that he has another killer on his turf! The author obviously has a very dry sense of humour, and it's...

    Which bookstores do you prefer?

Since I've lived here in the US, I much prefer Borders. I find Books-a-Million to be a 'browsers's bookstore' and not so much a 'reader's bookstore'. In England, I found that W H Smiths had the best selection of fiction.

    Any suggestions please?

I'm an avid reader of crime/mystery/thrillers, and am constantly looking for new authors to try. Because I read so much, I find that my favorite authors just don't seem to write quickly enough to keep a good supply going. I'm not happy unless I've got about 6 unread books to wade through...
