    Can someone help?

All right, you've persuaded me. Guess that's what I get for judging books by their covers. :o One last Q- should I buy Salvatore or borrow one from the library?

It really makes you think about those ordinary things in your life, that might not be so ordinary after all. ;)

    Can someone help?

A little while ago, I'd been reading fantasy books, and I wanted to get back into that genre again, but I don't want really dark novels (e.g. R.A. Salvatore). Any suggestions?

    Victor Hugo: Les Misérables

Well, I must duck my head and confess to reading the abridged version- if I recall correctly, though, I was only 13 when I read it, though. Quite good book, indeed.

    Munich

I saw it when it came out in theaters. Those of you who haven't seen it won't be disappointed. (nods)

    Howard Zinn

Actually, it was a private school, so the teachers didn't have to worry about what those higher up thought of their classes. :p

    Thr3e by Ted Dekker

I read that... Full of twists and turns, and keeps you guessing 'til the end, which is quite shocking...

    'Ello all

A clockwork orange, just finished One flew over the cuckoo's nest. The, uh, "cabinet" is a bit empty at the moment, but I'm sure it will fill up sooner or later.

    What books have you hated?

The Nanny Diaries. Hated it- was terribly, terribly pissed at most of the characters in there. %$#%$ snobs!

    C.S. Lewis

    Howard Zinn

A People's History of the United States was my textbook for my high school history class. Quite interesting, and good at debunking the myths that "normal" history texts put out.

    Dirk Pitt

I've read Atlantis Found and the Titanic one, but my favorite was Inca Gold. Had to read that 2 or 3 times. :D
