I love badmington but most of my friends don't like it. They think its a "girly" sport. I think its fun and if you ever watched some of the professional leagues, you'll be surprised of the athleticism!
Its a sport that you can play leisurely and also competitively if you want. :)
I've been purchasing solely paperbacks because its chaeper. Longevity of my books isn't a problem for me since I take exceptional care of my books (they look essentially brand new) which is an advantage of hardcover's durability. :)
What format do you like and why?
:) LibraryThing! :)
Go now and use it! This is the BEST site to create your own library database. Its so easy to add books by Title or even better, ISBN!! See what ratings each book recieved by users, how many users have it, etc..!
They are over 37,000 users!
Books cataloged 2,682,470...
:D My TBR list:
1. American Gods - Neil Gaiman
2. Good Omens - Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett
3. The Color of Magic - Terry Pratchett
4. Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell - Sussana Clarke
5. Storm Front - Jim Butcher
I would highly recommend LibraryThing as a database of all your books. Its probably THE place to do such a thing. Plus its fun to view all of your books by cover :D
Does one need to have read most/all of Kings work in order to understand or enjoy the Dark Towers?
I'm about to read Gunslinger but was confused when I found out that the Dark Towers goes through other Kings work...
