I am a lapsed Catholic bookkeeper so I'm probably not qualified on color decisions either but I go with green. Green is my favorite color.

So far, red is taking the lead. I have this thread on one more forum and the red cover is slightly leading the green. It's too close to call so I would love each of you to post their favorite.
