On the Road by Jack Kerouac
Breaking Rank by Kristen D Randle...3/5
The Pelican Brief by John Grisham...3/5
Like Water for Chocolate by Laura Esquivel...2/5
Girl with a Pearl Earring by Tracy Chevalier...5/5++
In Memory of Junior by Clyde Edgerton...2/5

Some of these I enjoyed as just "a quick read" or "something I would've loved as a teenager" but I think it is telling that the only one I'm keeping is Girl With a Pearl Earring and that I immediately had to lend it to my mother but also DEMANDED to get it back :)
