Ever walk out of a movie?

It's common to put down a book and never come back to it, but have you ever walked out of a movie? What was it that bored or bothered you about the film that prompted you to leave before it was over?

When I was in the 5th or 6th grade, my parents and I went to see "Moon over Parador" The movie was a fictional story about an island it's perverted dictator. The film was super-raunchy and was just...well.....crass. My parents kept shaking their heads upon viewing every scene and every cheesy line. I turned three shades purple of embarrassment and they announced that we were leaving.

I have never walked out of a movie, but came awful close once. My brother and I saw "The Cook, The Thief, His Wife, and Her Lover" and almost walked.

I walked out of Pulp Fiction. Not by choice, though. Was with the hubby and there's a part where someone gets a shot of adrenaline and he about puked so we had to leave. I've yet to this day to see the whole thing.

I've never walked out of a movie. Even at home, I try to finish the movies I start watching, though sometimes it's hard.

pho-tog: I love that scene!.:D The interaction among the couple at their house before the coked up girlfriend arrives is hilarious.

Stewart-Oh come on!. Sean Connery is the man!. Renegade Captain Ramius leading a race under the waves.

StillIlearn-A Clockwork Orange is one messed up movie, I agree. I watched it in a sociology class, so walking out was an option, just not a wise one. The larger point of a society fixing someone through medicine/technology was lost on me as the only thing that dominated in my mind was just how......odd the movie was.

I must have been about eleven or twelve and, after half an hour of guys talking gibberish in a submarine enough was enough...

I've never walked out, but I fell asleep during that first bloody LOTR film. It was in a cinema, the sound was blaring, but I still passed out from boredom.

I was dragged there by a woman, btw, otherwise I wouldn't have gone in the first place.

Hubby and I walked out of Honeysuckle Rose. The so-called plot was stupid and we got tired of hearing "On the Road Again." Seemed like the whole movie was set around this song. There was another one we walked out on around that time, but I can't remember now what it was . Must not have made an impression.

I've never walked out of a movie. However, the first time I watched City of Angels, I got so mad when she
died
I threw the remote at the tv and walked out. About a year later I finally watched the end, and it is one of my favorite movies now. (sorry if I ruined it for anyone, but if you haven't seen it yet then my guess is you are never going to)

My sister and her husband walked out of Alexander. They said it was just way to boring to sit through and too much homosexuality for them. So I never bothered to watch it.

I only walked out of one movie ever, so far..Loose Cannons with Dan Aykroyd and Gene Hackman. blah!
