what is irish coffee?

Original Irish Coffee Recipe

1 jigger of Irish Whiskey
2 teaspoons of Sugar
Fresh Hot Coffee
Fresh Cream

Rinse your glass with boiling water, so it is good and hot to start with. Add your Whiskey, Sugar & Coffee. Stir. Using the back of a spoon, slowly pour the cream so it sets on top of the mixture.

I guess Italian coffee would be espresso, and there's a turkish coffee. Can't really describe either effectively, except to say they're both very strong. You just have to experience it.

India (and several other countries have a similar thing) have chai, which is tea, milk, and spices. Good stuff, either hot or cold.

Espresso is called because of the way it is made. In Italian it means something like "made quicky on the spot" It is a very fine grain of coffee that is pushed though a filter, quickly, at very high pressure. I personally use a stove top maker like the Spanish and Italians but you can buy machines to do the job.

Espresso is not Indian or actually really Italian but mediterranean and is consumed all over Europe. It is very dark and very strong. You get a little bit in a tiny cup. You sip and savour the intense strong taste :). It also has one HELL of a cafine kick :)
