No - they called me a scientist and made me wear a white coat; put a pipette in one hand and a Petri plate in the other.
I won't bore with gore [gosh, remember when poetry used to rhyme?] but I suffer from PMT now and again - PostMorTemism.

I work with non-humans so, if you can't hide, Wabbit, you'd better run

That's one vintage you don't want to sample :D

Anyway, you will never make it past the badgers of war! A badger once bit my sister. Badger bites can be quite nasty.

Yes.

Yes, you are. Nothing to be ashamed of, though.

*sniggers*

Anyway, back to the subject at hand: Janet Jackson nipple. Huh, what ... ?!

Cheers, Martin :D

I can only speak one language. :( Darn shoddy American schooling. I can sorta read Latin, though. Which isn't exactly useful.

Is discussion of Janet's boob a worldwide phenomenon? That's depressing.

I 'did' French and Latin at school, but I couldn't hold a conversation in either. Dare say chat would be the last thing on my mind if a Centurion poked his head round the corner :)

my favourite quote has to be
"At times it is better to keep your mouth shut and let people wonder if you are a fool than to open it and remove all their doubts"
- James Sinclair

However i am disregarding this quote by opening my mouth here:D

Yes, it is, and indeed, it is.

Something I came across yesterday: "Art is whatever makes you proud to be human." I've been looking for a definition of art for quite some time now, and this seems fitting.

Hmmn- I really should write down the cool quotes I come across so I don't forget them. There's a number I remember being funny, and I know where I read them, but over time, I've forgotten :(

Off the top of my head:

"Impressive, most impressive. But you are not a jedi yet"

"It is better to light a candle than curse the darkness"
-Carl Sagan

"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is a good as dead; his eyes are closed."
Albert Einstein

"What is an anarchist? One who, choosing, accepts the responsibility of choice."
Ursula K. LeGuinn

"We're just dolls. We don't have a clue what's really going down, we just kid ourselves that we're in control of our lives while a paper's thickness away things that would drive us mad if we thought about them for too long play with us, and move us around from room to room, and put us away at night when they're tired, or bored."
- Neil Gaiman's Sandman vol 2 - 'Doll's House"

I keep a journal of quotes...that way I can remember them. I usually mark pages in books where I find an interesting/amusing/thoughtful quote so that I can write it down when I'm home with my quote-journal.
