I like when they do both in one picture. If I had to choose I'd say color. Black and white is just an "easy way out" to make a dull picture look artistic, IMO.

I'm going to have to say that although I liked Michael Keaton's batman, Christian Bale's batman ranks much higher in the sex appeal and general badassery.

That's a hard one... I don't think either Val Kilmer or George Clooney had the right profile for the job (starting with the hair colour, one is blond and the other grey...), but I still liked the movies. I especially liked Batman & Robin, but I think having a Smashing Pumpkins song in the soundtrack helped...

Of course, you can never have too many Batman's...
As for who should play Batman, I think they could age Christian Bale. I can't think of anyone better for the job...

Going only by the movies (and not the Adam West ones), I think the worst was Dr. Freeze or whatever his name was.
