That was the reason I didn't just write a PM to Wabbit about it. I already knew what the reply would be.Stewart said:Maybe he was posting as a member and not as a moderator when he made that post, if you remember that bullshit.![]()

Both Ell and Wabbit have said they're looking into hiring more moderators, so let's hope the new ones will be appointed soon.hay82 said:Get some more mods and make them more consistent in their rulings. I would like to see the active members of the forum nominate and chose the new moderators.
In a way, it is necessary, because with as much posts as this forum generates daily, you have to keep things organised.RobertFKennedy said:Also, constantly moving peoples posts is a bit unfair unless it's really neccesary.
I wanted to stay out of this, but as I don't consider myself to be an "outspoken" member, here's my two cents.SFG75 said:but I wonder how the other, not so outspoken members feel about this.
By this standard, the thread still has zero posts.
yes it's neccesary at times but on some forums mods move things when theres no need, thats all I'm getting at.lies said:In a way, it is necessary, because with as much posts as this forum generates daily, you have to keep things organised.
I think this isn't completely fair. Wabbit is simply the moderator who's online most often, so very frequently, it is he who has to justify the moderator's decisions when someone (again) questions them. One of the problems with the moderation here is that right now it seems very much as if Wabbit is in charge. I do not trush Wabbit as a moderator
And if they are one and the same?Martin said:This is the 'What is wrong with the moderation'-thread, not the 'What is wrong with Wabbit'-thread. Treat it as such.
I disagree with that. It's quite easy for one person to influence others when it's in a small group.Martin said:The moderators work together. One mod cannot be the bud of all problems.
Your very right there martin, this seems to be a personnal vendetta against wabbit who is just doing his job!Martin said:The moderators work together, and therefore share responsibility. One mod cannot be the bud of all problems.
Against Wabbit as a moderator, yes. Not so much personal though.ruby said:Your very right there martin, this seems to be a personnal vendetta against wabbit who is just doing his job!
I feel certain members are making this personnel as they dont like to be told off! But if you are big enough to cause all the shit, take it on the chin! Stop moaning about it and get on with it!hay82 said:Against Wabbit as a moderator, yes. Not so much personal though.
I don't have anything against Wabbit, I have something agaist Wabbit as a moderator. But since Wabbit IS a moderator he should behave accordingly and this does slip for him from time to time, and he calls on the "I'm just a human defence".ruby said:I feel certain members are making this personnel as they dont like to be told off! there does seem to be egos involved here.ruby said:I feel certain members are making this personnel as they dont like to be told off! But if you are big enough to cause all the shit, take it on the chin! Stop moaning about it and get on with it!
There is certain egos a lot bigger than some and they need to sort that out!RobertFKennedy said:there does seem to be egos involved here.
