Rented this one last night and I'm glad we did. What a treat!. Definitely worth all of the hype and awards that it received. Scorsese, a star-studded cast with Jack Nicholson(the greatest), Leo, and Matt Damon. Not to mention an interesting ditty.:D The film was anything but predictable, I was hooked.

I watched it last night and enjoyed it. But I feel that watching the original, Infernal Affairs, was a more enjoyable experience. At least then I didn't know how it would end.
 
I'm not a big fan of anything relating to the Mob, and I'm often let down by things that receive tons of hype... but much to my surprise, I liked this movie as well. However, I was let down by Jack Nicholson's performance. All the other actors tried to keep their Boston accents; he couldn't have been bothered to use one.

I think he tried, but he just couldn't pull it off... and thank you! Because his accent really annoyed me, too. :)

Although I really liked this movie, I still say it's his 3rd best gangster movie. Goodfellas was miles better than this one, IMO, as was Casino.
