And another Vampire story.
The last i read was Midnight childreen by Dan Simmons and it was quite bad.So this came as a nice surprise.
The start specialy is very good, with a plane strangely stranded after landing in New York. The vampire are of a different bread than the usual, more like "i'm a legend",it's more of a parazite on humain than dandy from Anne Rice.
Of course it's not great writing, and you see the trains coming from far,but as untertainment reading,it fair well above average.
Some scarry parts and good characteres selection.
It will be a trilogy and i just might read the rest of them, well,i not panting wainting for their realize but some might.

I enjoyed this book and look forward to the next in the series. I prefer my vampires blood crazed and messy rather then wearing Edwardian garb and listing to Brahms.
