The Worst of 2005

I really liked Snow Falling On Cedars but everyone else in my library book club hated it. I thought it was very discriptive and enthralling but they thought it was soporific.

Oooh, Ronny. I wish I had seen this post earlier (hoping you'll see this now).

I really liked Snow Falling On Cedars, too. You may be the first person I've found that agrees with me. I easily related to the plight of the Japanese-American family and thought the descriptive passages were enchanting.

Ell, I'm glad to hear you liked it, too. I was so surprised after reading it that so few liked it, because I thought it was really a beautiful book. I could picture the island so vividly and felt so strongly for all the characters.

Have you read any other books by Guterson? I think I'll have to look into them :)
