Okay Kiddies, today's writing task.

Advance to the nearest mirror. Stare. Now describe your eyes.

Mine are jealous olive green.

Yours?

Third Man Girl

My eyes are that of a cat: green and ringed with fire yellow about an obsidian centre.

My best friend always says this about my eyes. "Your eyes are very scary. They glow with so much passion and so many other things. Sometimes they are beautiful and sometimes they are very very scary. You have the strangest eyes."

Shrugs. lol

Regards - Silly ( green eyes ) Wabbit

In the mirror my eyes, like tired jade shot with thin capillaries, accept a further pair wrapped across their glassy screen, and each pair grasps the other, refusing to stand down. Until infinity.

The rich brown of a good strong cup of Assam tea, ringed with dark lashes so they appear larger than they are. Very expressive, so I have few secrets.

*starring in the mirror*

The left eye is blue surrounding a starburst of green while the right eye is green surrounding a starburst of yellow...both stare off into the worlds of my mind.

Mine are phantom green, spreading out to a browny, turdy, colour towards the edges.

How about that for poetic!

Turdy must be the single most poetic word I have heard today!

Screw 'Cellar Door'!

Cheers, Martin :D

Mine are, well ... blue :(

How Blue?

As blue as a whale,
As blue as a snail,
As ice-white blue
As a bridal veil?

As blue as pale smoke,
As blue as a joke,
As blue as hot coke
When you give it a poke?

As blue as a cold,
As blue as bread mould,
As blue as a gem
On a band of white gold?

As blue as the sky,
As blue as a sigh?
I’ve got it!
As blue, as Martin’s eye!

Third Man Girl

Large, piercing almost shiny black. They were the kind of eyes that probed intensely, hungrily for knowledge and truth. With pupils that bore through irrelevancies and facades with inordinate ease. The thick eyebrows slightly upswept complemented the impressive glare.

And that’s just on a Monday morning :p

Mine are red, like a Devils, mwa ha ha ha ha!!!

Okay, they're blue!! Just plain blue, alright, none of this 'blue as a sweet Summer sky' crap :D

Only occasionally do they have a nice hungover tint to them (generally most Saturday mornings!) - but currently they are just red-rimmed tired eyes!

Phil (my sled dogs eyes are brown by the way!)

His eyes are blue like the ocean between them
Deep, dark, like the mystery they share.
Not knowing where her life has led her
To reach this place, this time.
Perhaps if these eyes had seen her before,
Could touch her, could move her soul ...
But she is somewhere his touch cannot reach.
Near where her breath first catches fire.
Where her thoughts like beacons glimmer,
Fade, and scatter upon their broken blue sea.

Miles away, she imagines the moist tip of his tongue
Curve delicately across the arc of her eyelid,
And the smooth sweep of his hair brushing between her breasts.
And she fears she must finally contemplate her surrender.
She is not sure if this is what she wants,
But she watches this dance along her body
And breaks at his beautiful ballet.

How's that?

His eyes are blue like the ocean between them
Are you saying I have a big head?
Deep, dark, like the mystery they share.
Are you calling me stupid?
Not knowing where her life has led her
Are you calling me a woman?
Near where her breath first catches fire.
Are you saying my girlfriend has bad breath?
And the smooth sweep of his hair brushing between her breasts.
Watch it!

No, kidding! That was great! How do you do that?!

Thanks for that Tugger!

Cheers, Martin :D

Hahaha... Yeah, thanks Martin, that first line needs a little work doesn't it? :p

Actually, I wasn't thinking of you as I was writing, sorry. Third Man Girl was actually the inspiration as I started writing and then I just kinda went off ...
