Here are the nominees:

Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil by John Berendt

Perdido Street Station by China Mieville
Breakfast at Tiffany’s by Truman Capote
20th Century Ghosts by Joe Hill
One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Marcia Marquez
The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoevsky
Hyperion by Dan Simmons
The Big Sleep by Raymond Chandler

*I tried to get a poll made but apparently you only have 5 minutes and I didn't make it :banghead6mx::lol:

The poll is up. Start voting people...

The poll will close on the 29th so people can have time to get their hands on June's book on time.

One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Marcia Marquez
or
The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoevsky

Can't decide..I read "One Hundred Years of Solitude" 3 years ago and I liked it on the other hand I've read nothing by Dostoevsky ..I think it's about time ..

Done.

Are we choosing June only? Will July and August be chosen from that list as well? Wouldn't we need like 3 months to read The Brothers Karamazov?
Am I asking too many questions? :D

I'm hoping we get a clear 1st, 2nd and 3rd place choices but that probably won't happen so we'll have to do something else.

*Thanks for fixing my poll disaster, Landslide.

No problem joderu!

I was also thinking the same but if only one book gets picked maybe we could submit the remaining to a new poll. What do you guys think?

NotTheDoctor, if The Brothers Karamazov gets picked we can make it BOTM for two months, I think it has been done before.

I'm in favor of using the other titles for our next round. The list is diverse and we have enough nominees to keep us going for a while.

Well, Libra, you cannot beat me... I put it up and forgot to vote

I guess The Brothers Karamazov won. Maybe we should make it the BOTM for June and July?
