What's wrong with MASH!!! I love MASH, I watch the reruns every weekend! Either way, very impressive list. I agree on most of them, actually more of them than I'd like to admit. I didn't think of a lot of those when making my list. Good job!

Sanford and Son
Absolutely Fabulous
Blackadder
Kids in the Hall
Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood
Futurama
Fawlty Towers
Three's Company
King of the Hill
Chapelle's Show
Daria
Austin City Limits

Uh-oh...went over. Trim my list?!

Well, some of those shows I just like a lot. I'm sure there are a few that got by me which I may like better, but just forgot about. Hmmm, they're 85% comedies. What can it mean? Is that what TV does best? Otherwise, I used to watch PBS, like nonfiction all the time. (No cable for the last three years.)

I said that because somewhere in this thread somebody else went on about how horrible a show it was and how they still watched it. I can't watch it now because it just doesn't interest me. I was forced to watch it during dinner time as a child and I guess I had enough of it then. :)

That makes sense. Being forced to watch something can certainly influence how you feel about it. Besides, if you've seen every episode 5 times, it isn't really funny anymore.

This'll be tough.. I don't watch tv. I only watch when forced to.

1. South Park
2. The Simpsons (the older episodes)
3. The X Files (also the older episodes)
4. Desperate Housewives
5. Prison Break
6. Sex and the City
7. Beverley Hills 90210
8. The Outer Limits
9. The 4400(where's the 2nd season? )
10. 7de Laan(South African tv)

I mostly watch these on dvd except for number 10. But I forget that I have a television so I'd far rather read than watch tv. Except for South Park cause that I have on my Ipod. :)

I don't watch enough TV to have a Top Ten, but my faves are:

Desperate Housewives
Law and Order: SVU
Sex and the City
Friends

Unlike Angerball, all I do is watch TV, so I've worked very hard at narrowing it down to my top ten of all time:

(in no particular order)

1. Arrested Development (sob!)
2. The Simpsons seasons 1 - 9
3. Lost
4. Seinfeld
5. Superted
6. The Office (BBC)
7. Black Books
8. Spaced
9. Gumby
10. Smallville

I may change my mind in five minutes, though....

Hmm, good thread. Mine (drumroll, please!)

In no particular order:
Arrested Development *sobs with Peronel*
NewsRadio
Six Feet Under
The Sopranos
Sex and the City (HBO rules)
The Cosby Show
Seinfeld
The Real World (even though it's getting suckier and suckier, this is my guilty little pleasure)
Never Mind the Buzzcocks (an absolutely hilarious BBC show)
The Gong Show - anyone remember this one? I watched reruns as a kid and used to laugh my backside off
Project Runway (Tim Gunn is my hero)

My favorites:

"Xena: Warrior Princess"

"The X-Files"

"Six Feet Under"

"Millennium"

"Dead Like Me"

"The Real World" (even though most of the current seasons are boring)

Dexter, anyone?

May I introduce a show that might just feature on my top 10 shows after one or two seasons? Dexter's amazing. It's funny how likeable a serial killer can be.

Hey all!

1) House Wow. But any character that pays homage to Holmes is amazing!

2) Friends The only sitcom I find funny. Colorful and loveable characters.

3) The X-Files Come one of my predominant passions is the paranormal..plus I was, and still am come to think of it, in love with Fox Mulder.

4) Xena I do her battle cry all the time. She empowered women and was just a straight up bad ass. I didn't even mind Xena/Gabrielle.

5) Whose Line Is It Anyway? Funniest show ever! Improv is pure gold...good improv! Ryan, Collin, and Wayne are three Gods!

6) The Simpsons I must pay homage to the good seasons...they haven't been good for a long time...but back in the day...dynamite!

7) Malcom in the Middle A genius show, at least the first three seasons.

8) Smallville Seasons 1-3 my God, the show went from great to one of the worst shows ever! But I must again pay homage because I, being a huge Superman fan, was obsessed for the first 3 seasons.

9) Stargate SG-1 Very likeable TV show. I like sci-fi in general.

10) Masterpiece Theatre
Heck yes! I'm a geek I get it.

I agree, seasons two and three were lacklustre, but the show has really picked up from the fourth up to the sixth season. Lex is truly becoming a badass now (just like we want him to:) ), and Clark isn;t as annoying as he used to be. Now if only Lana would die....

I liked seasons 1-3...I hated 4 on. It got way to uncanon for my taste. Once Lois came into the picture I was done.

In no particular order, my favorite series that are still running (because I'm too lazy to pick ten all-time faves!):

1.Lost
2.Heroes
3.Stargate
4.Prison Break
5.CSI
6.Smallville
7.Grey's Anatomy
8.House
9.Battlestar Galactica
10.Firefly - Okay, not running anymore, but fantastic!!

Phil

In order:

1. All In The Family.
2. The Simpsons.
3. Prison Break.
4. Everybody Loves Raymond.
5. The Cosby Show.
6. Who's The Boss?
7. Married With Children.
8. The Surreal Life/Flavor Of Love (always good for a laugh).
9. America's Most Wanted.
10. Cops.
