To Tai- How was The Relic, I've read many of their books, but not that one.
What do you think of the new " Gideon " series?Book Reviews And Comments By Rick O

I haven't read the Gideon and there is a short wait. I like the Relic. What I like about it is the characters. Pendergast, D'Agotsa, Frock, Green, and several others all are great. What I like about this book is that it's easy to distinguish the secondard secondary characters. I'm in the process of picking up the sequel (Reliquary). I'm actually working my way in order. I read Mount Dragon and Riptide and thought it was great to now I'm going to read their books in order.

I read The Relic on a flight oversees to Italy. I enjoyed that flight:)

Just finished: World Without End by Ken Follett. Great sequel, almost as
good as The Pillars of the Earth. The only flaw is the amount of calamities!
They seem to come very ten pages or so. Still it's the fastest 1000 page
book I've ever read.

Finished Killing Floor by Lee Child yesterday. It was amazing. There were a couple flaws but who cares right. The story was great and I started Die Trying yesterday. 4.5/5

The Picture of Dorian Grey by Oscar Wilde. I actually really liked it. Thought Lord Henry was a bit of an idiot, but that's alright.:star3: and a half.

True Blue - David Baldacci :star4:

I read some bad reviews on this one, but I have to say I enjoyed this book

I have to admit I was half way through that book and couldn't finish it. I promise myself I would keep if off the shelf for two years and forget about everything and start fresh again. I'm a big Baldacci fan and have to say that it was a disappointment to me. I hope he gets back to Oliver Stone. I will give it another shot.

Yes I really loved this book. It's a bit reminiscent of The Good Earth - Pearl Buck. I am also very interested in the history of Kashmir/India/Pakistan and the various political, religious and social conflicts ongoing there.

I think you'll enjoy it.
