Margrave of the marshes - John Peel

This is due out on October 17th, it is the book John was in the process of writing when he died. Sadly he never got to finish it so his widow Sheila has done it for him. :) I'm looking forward to reading this, he was a great man, I still miss his voice on the radio. :(

    Fireworks

It may be hard to understand but in this country some people *shock horror* don't drive. They rely on a bicycle to get to work or to visit friends. For some people it's their only means of transport. Children who are not old enough to drive a car use them too.

Totally agree, they are effectively small bombs and very dangerous. Let me tell you a story :D Back in July it was about midnight and we heard this firework going off, one of those roman candle things. I'm not exaggerating it was so loud you could hear it from miles away  Anyway...

    Dean Koontz

I didn't think The taking was one of his better books really. I've read Life expectancy recently and that was much better, I thought it was really good. :)

Has anyone read any of his stuff and if so is it any good? he's going to be signing copies of his latest book very close to where I live soon. I just wondered if it would be worth going to...
