    Reporting from Lebanon

Yes, please do keep talking Samerron. I only hear from my friend in Lebanon sparodically. But at least the British Embassy have been keeping in contact with her. Although it will be a wrench when they are evacuated as she will be leaving her parents behind. Her husband returned to the UK a...

    Reporting from Lebanon

Samerron - what words can I say to express my horror at what is happening. Being an optimist I am constantly shocked at the way fellow humans treat other humanbeings. With the wonderful gift of communication we still resort to violence and unfounded hatred - a lack of acceptance. I too have...

    Authors Like Lisa Gardner???

I'm a Gardner fan too. You might like to take a peak at the works of Allison Brennan and Karin Slaughter. And there's always Kathy Reichs.

    Vladimir Nabokov: Glory

Hellooo, hellooo, yes I am still here - just. It's taken me awhile just to catch up on the threads - although I must confess to a little speed reading, otherwise I'd not be here:D I can understand what SIL means - I had a hard time reading Glory. But not because it was, to use a TBF common...

    Vladimir Nabokov: Glory

OK, I have a question. I read somewhere amongst the pages of Glory something about Martin believing that (day)dreams can come true? Anyone:confused: Or was I just imagining it. :o
