alright let's do this.

I so hate this post of mine. I hate this tone of voice. I wonder why SFG only talks about what others have done. I know he has some crafts. I bet he built model airplanes and ships.

Yep, when I was like eight or so. Ahhhh, those were the days.

Oh, poor SFG. Crafts are not just for kiddles.

I made a 12 foot long scarf last year. I think of it as a Survival Scarf, which can double as a blanket or a signal to aircraft.

True, very true. Crocheting and other things like that just don't do it for me. My dad likes to do woodcarving and is very good at it. I'm not all that artistic, trust me. I have mentioned that fact more than a few times.:D

Did you really make this litany? It is fantastic. I'd love to know where you got the pattern from. I'm just not creative enough to come up with a pattern for something like that.

I made him up. There's a basic amigurumi pattern that gives you the dimensions for the body, but once you've made one you can see how it works and just make them up as you go along.

So from that I made a frog just to see how the pattern worked out.

And then I made a cow because I'd promised someone on another forum that I would. It doesn't really show up in the photo, but the udders were a work of genius.

Freya made me a Donkey Monkey, many moons before the dragon was even thought of. :p

Here is a dragon that Freya did knit for me. He's called Bunsen II.

Wow. I love it. I'm going to have to make one of those someday when I'm no longer spending every minute of every day stopping the kid from eating lint, pebbles and whatever else is on the floor. I had a dragon pattern bookmarked, but it seems to be gone. I don't think it was as nice.

Thanks for the link. I'll have to give it a shot sometime. I see on their Flickr that someone else made a pirate, but it was sadly missing the peg leg and hook. Who would do that to a pirate?

Right now I'm working on a pattern to make a clothespin holder out of plarn (recycled grocery bags). Anyone else a plarn user?

Fug, I hate the way this has so easily turned into a knitporn site. Litany should be taken aside and whipped with long things.

But, um, yeah, like hugs too. because I like that there's a weltanshaung and shit.

okay. Here goes. I crocheted so many things that I CANT publicize because they are OBSCENE. One was in the 'baby multicolor' yarn--you people know where I'm going with that, and being that I'm running for office, I can't really get into the details.

B&R Rocks, man.

How come Stewart has knit porn gifts and I do not? There is injustice in the world.

I could make you a willy warmer. Actually, I have a pattern for a whip too, I just need to find some leather thonging. Then you could get your knit porn and whip me too.

No, but that's a fantastic idea. Anything to get rid of the little buggers.

It actually works really well. You cut off the bottom and the handles, then roll up the remaining piece. Cut it into strips about 1" wide that end up as loops when unrolled. Connect the loops and you've got plarn.

My one problem is that I don't use plastic grocery bags. I have cloth bags. I had to find a friend with a grocery bag overflow so that I could make my project. It came out great though and I'll post a picture when I get a chance.
