Where do you like to read? On the train, in the library, in a coffee shop, in bed?

I tend to read in bed at night with a small light on. Helps to really get into the story. Not so good if reading a horror story though :D

Bed, couch, trains, cafe's, bus stops, buses. You name it, I'm reading there
 
I usually read in bed although I shouldn't (makes my neck sore). The recliner in the living room is a good spot, too, but then I get too tired to come upstairs when I'm done. I think I like reading in bed so much because then I can read myself to sleep.

I always have something with me in the car to read, just in case I get stuck somewhere.
 
I read in the car on the way home from work, waiting for the ferry to cross the Mighty Mississippi. I love to read in bed, but it tends to keep me up 'til all hours instead of putting me to sleep. But my favorite place to read is (don't laugh, all you manly men) in the bathtub surrounded by candles with my beverage of choice for the evening. It's my way to unwind. I wait until the kids are in bed, dishes are washed, dog let out . . . well you get the picture.

Come on, ya'll. I know some of you do the same thing!!!
 
Both bed and bath (and the toilet :eek:) are great places to be reading, and I recently discovered that our "library" isn't bad either, on the contrary... There's this rather old comfy chair/couch in there, and it's got great lighting as well. Problem with all those places is that they don't stay comfortable for too long. I have to find another spot to sit or lie or stand or whatever every fifteen minutes... But I tend to keep reading while I make these "switches", so it's not all that bad.

And sometimes I read on the bus or the train, but on other occasions reading there makes me feel sick, just like reading in a car never fails to do that.
 
usually read if in the tub but my fav. spot in in bed, without a doubt. just looooooove to read until i can't keep my eyelids open anymore, then reach over and turn off the light and then i'm out like a light myself:D
 
hmm everywhere but specifically..

I love reading on one of those comfy chairs at the coffee shop
across from my appartment and at the end of the street
there is a corner cafe we I sit outdoors ... also to catch up with the car watching (another fave hobby) ;)
 
Anywhere, usually at my desk. I usually have the television on, volume low, just because I can't stand the complete silence at times and it actually helps me concentrate at times. Often, when there is a long drive in store for me, I'll usually bring something to read. (I'm not the one driving).

well thank god for that! LoL!

once, i had this really nice expensive car cut me off... as i drove by the jerk... saw him reading as he was driving... if ya kin believe! cuz i sure couldn't! lol
 
There is a pub in my home town of Swansea, Wales called The No Sign Bar. I the winter they have real coal fires and I love to sit next to the fire with a pint of Guiness and a book.
 
Bed, bathtub, bathroom, study desk, work (when there's nothing to do), waiting for class...anywhere I get the chance, I read. I always take my book with me just in case.
 
I'll read anywhere, I love to read outside especially, when the weather is nice enough for it. I do a lot of reading in bed or on the couch. I also read lounging on the futon in my library, but it has an odd tilt so gets uncomfortable after an hour. I'm most comforable reading laying down or lounging sideways, so I need a big comfy chair if there isn't a couch.
 
On the train to and from work. Waiting for the train. When I get to work, if it's a quiet day, I have a particularly secluded desk. :D At home on the sofa, in the bath, and in bed. I used to live by a really nice bar that was good for sitting in on a sunday afternoon with a book. But I moved, and while I'm within spitting distance of quite a few nice pubs, I find them all a bit too smokey to sit read in all afternoon. :(
 
I usually read while on the toilet, or sprawled out on the sofa in front of the telly or with some music on in the background. Can never get comfortable reading in bed for some reason. I normally spend most my free time at uni in the library reading, that's where I get most of my reading done
 
I'd guess I'm likely the only one who does most of his reading at work. :D I've been known to knock out 250 pages or more in a shift!
 
I read on the train to work!

In the winter: on my sofa or in bed
In the summer: on the sofa but also Outside in a park :)

I like to read while in bed or resting on the couch but I take a book with me everywhere. The odd thing is, I can read for hours while on my back but reading while sitting up makes me sleepy.

I read in my bed, on my chair, in the bath, in the car when someone drives, at someone's house, at work and in the pub. I always take my book to everywhere. I take it when I am going on holiday as well.
 
I don't have any problem with motion sickness in the car, but Wolf gets really pissy if I read while he drives. :(
