Winter, hands down, no contest.

Does it snow where you are?

no.. never. one year not so long ago, i travelled down to the southern part of Tasmania and saw snow for the first time ever.. we do have snow on the Snowy Mountains in winter however, i've just never been there. (who ever named that mountain range had no imagination) in fact, where i live, the lowest temp i have ever seen was in midwinter, at around 2 in the morning, and it hit 6C/42F one time.

I used to be a darned good skier. I guess these days, I'd rather drink beer in it.

Nope. Around here, the rivers and lakes usually don't freeze thick enough for that. When I was little, a boy drowned in the Arkansas because he tried to walk across the ice.
