Just ordered another batch from The Folio Society – their sale was just too tempting.

A two-book history of Africa for the other half's forthcoming birthday, plus he wanted The Shorter Oxford Dictionary (at half price, it's a bargain). Then I ordered JE Neale's Elzabeth I and four of PG Wodehouse's Blandings books.

Nice. I shan't spoil it for you.

Thanks, I'd hate to have to chase you down just so I could shoot you with my kid's nerf gun:p According to Google maps, once we got to New York, we'd have a LONG swim:D

BTW-I started Fortunes of Wangrin this morning, it looks promising.

The last book I bought was the Autobiography of Malcolm X. I know, I should've read it by now but I haven't. What did you guys think of it?

I recently bought a whole bunch of books from the penguin classics collection:
Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoyevsky
Mansfield Park by Jane Austen
Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas
Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen
Notes from Underground and The Double by Fyodor Dostoyevsky
North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell

Now i've just go to choose which one to start on first!

Are The Folio Society books worth the money?
