If you can't beat 'em, join 'em...

I Drove All Night - Roy Orbison
hehe, ok I will refrain from any more Roy Orbison songs. Who else don't you like so I may post some of their songs.:D

Oh, I really hate Guns N Roses, Meatloaf, Metallica, James Blunt, Deltra Goodrem, The Beatles, and I especially hate John Lennon ;) ;) ;)

Like I am gonna answer that  ;) :D

Ok, let me guess.

All Shook Up by Elvis

A well I bless my soul
What’s wrong with me?
I’m itching like a man on a fuzzy tree
My friends say I’m actin’ wild as a bug
I’m in love
I’m all shook up
Mm mm oh, oh, yeah, yeah!

My hands are shaky and my knees are weak
I can’t seem to stand on my own two feet
Who do you thank when you have such luck?
I’m in love
I’m all shook up
Mm mm oh, oh, yeah, yeah!

Please don’t ask me what’s on my mind
I’m a little mixed up, but I’m feelin’ fine
When I’m near that girl that I love best
My heart beats so it scares me to death!

She touched my hand what a chill I got
Her lips are like a vulcano that’s hot
I’m proud to say she’s my buttercup
I’m in love
I’m all shook up
Mm mm oh, oh, yeah, yeah!

My tongue get tied when I try to speak
My insides shake like a leaf on a tree
There’s only one cure for this body of mine
That’s to have the girl that I love so fine!

One more try and then I will give it up for a lost cause. A few of the lyrics from this nice song:

Vincent by Don McLean

Starry
starry night
paint your palette blue and grey

look out on a summer's day
with eyes that know the
darkness in my soul.
Shadows on the hills
sketch the trees and the daffodils

catch the breeze and the winter chills

in colors on the snowy linen land.
And now I understand what you tried to say to me

how you suffered for your sanity
how you tried to set them free.
They would not listen
they did not know how

perhaps they'll listen now.

LOL that song is really gonna stick in my head all day now, I grew up with my dad singing it every day  :)

As I was just telling Steffee, on the way home a few minutes ago, I got to hear a song I've loved since I was 5 years old:

Oklahoma Hills
Words and Music by Woody Guthrie and Jack Guthrie

Many a month has come and gone
Since I've wandered from my home
In those Oklahoma hills
Where I was born

Many a page of my life has turned
Many lessons I have learned
And I feel like in those hills
Where I belong

CHORUS:
Way down yonder in the Indian nation
Ridin' my pony on the reservation
In the Oklahoma hills where I was born

Way down yonder in the Indian nation
A cowboy's life is my occupation
In the Oklahoma Hills where I was born

But as I sit here today
Many mile's I am away
From the place I rode my pony
Through the draw

Where the oak and black-jack trees
Kiss the playful prairie breeze
And I feel back in those hills
Where I belong

CHORUS

Now as I turn life a page
To the land of the great Osage
In those Oklahoma hills
Where I was born

Where the black oil rolls and flows
And the snow white cotton grows
And I feel like in those hills
Where I belong

the Willy Wonka song and 'Main Titles' from the Willy Wonka soundtrack...it literally drove me insane with the "willy wonka, willy wonka, the amazing choclateer WHEE! willy wonka...willy wonka, everybody give a cheer HOORAY!" see...its memorized...Wire from Third Day and now I can't stand them...thats about it though there could be more...hmm...I just better not try to remember them or they shall come back and AH! :p

Till I Collapse' opening dialogue keeps replaying itself in my head before marching off to the initial beat.

And that one little tune (God help me I don't know the songs name, and I should), from the genius Mozart...he has many nice tunes, but this is the little nice tune! (I'm lost).

A friend dropped round last weekend with a dozen LPs (old 80s stuff) under his arm, among them Models 'The Pleasure of Your Company'. I've had crashing drums and 'No Shoulders, No Head' going round in my brain most of the week.

The hell with it. I'm going to listen to the album again.
