N.B. There was an error when submitting this post. As a result the first response to this thread by brk_3 too was deleted by mistake. Anyways, brk_3 has asked whether only 10 can be chosen... the respone to that being not necessarily... I wanted to think out as to what ten I would sellect if I had to sellect only ten. Hence the next ten I grudgingly left out from the first ten. There are still more CD's that I do like a lot - Prince's Purple Rain, Tool's Lateralus, Nirvana's nevermind, DMB's before these crowded streets, Pink Floyd's Meddle for instance... but then almost all of us would end up with about 50 CDs wouldn't we ?;)

yea ten would be tough. I have over 500 rock albums on CD in my collection about 100 country albums on CD as well, not to mention the many albums and songs downloaded that reside on there own hard disk

I'll go with the what's listed in one of my albums.

brk_3's top ten rock albums

Depache mode

noted that Depeche Mode's violater is higly rated by most. Well, I didn't get to hear Depeche Mode till quite late, & the albums that I am familiar with are Exciter, sounds of the universe & the very best of DM. Think I've missed a lot by missing out on Violater ? Is it worth while to find a copy & listen ?
