  • Yeah, I do. H.P. Lovecraft books and the Cthulhu stuff. I am trying to get a set of the old Arkham house books but only have one so far*. Why do you ask?

*I am also trying to pick up a complete sets of Treatise Invertebrate Paleontology, the original printing of The War of the Rebellion: a Compilation of the Official Records of the Union and Confederate Armies, the original printing of the Official records of the Union and Confederate Navies in the War of the Rebellion, and others. :p
Yeah Ludlums style of writing is hard to get used to, but read Bourne Identity - the movie (great though it was) doesn't do justice to the intricate plot of the book.
No actually, I've not read any of the "Road To" books. I've read the bourne series and a bunch of others many years ago. I recently tried reading the Osterman Weekend and it was so bad that I was considering taking Ludlum off my favorite author lists. My favorite amongst the non series books would be Parsifal Mosaic.
You can make wreaths with the vines and grape jam with the fruit..go to www.recipezaar.com and see what recipes you can find. I think you can even make jam and freeze it...if the fruit is too far gone then use it for feeding your bird population. Somebody would love em!
I have three shelves full of cookbooks in the kitchen...and a houseful of individual palates..some are amazingly picky. I try to cater to dad..unless he's going to be away. I think we all get in food ruts that are tough to climb out of...I like mindless food personally...
They just don't get how tough it is to be creative ALL the time..and not break the bank...Gets old. I don't want a maid, but a cook would be nice!
Mutitasking is my life..I hear ya. I've been wracking my brain trying to think of something cheap to fix for dinner that won't cause the kids to say. "Ew! Not THAT again!!!" I hate hearing that.
Procrastinatin'...I need to buy a plant or flowers for a funeral(friend's fatherinlaw), pick up books at the library, go to the grocery store, and drop my eldest son at the local high school at 3 for make up work...Where's my stunt double now that I need her? Basking away on some exotic beach, no doubt..the lowlife:lol:
Thanks! I'd feel better if someone just shot me..put me out of my misery...am seriously contemplating a nap!
Barring a sudden rush of voters who like Arthur Conan Doyle and/or Edith Wharton, it looks like our choice won. Yay!
My fingers are crossed as we speak. Figuratively, not literally. The poll closes tomorrow right?
