The Last Juror by John Grisham
This is from the back of the book. I am finding this book to be extremely entertaining. It reminds me somewhat of Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil with a quaint southern town being rocked by a disasterous murder.

You remind me of Scott Weiland of Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver. Not that I'm insinuating (sp?) that you are a drug addict or anything, but you look like him in this picture.
There are a few points in the book that made me hyperventilate. I just past one in particular which includes a needle, and a foot (If you know what I mean).
Ah, you're not really missing out on anything. Most of the stuff anyone here reads are sappy romances. Also, all the books are doggy-eared, torn, bitten, chewed, spit on, have gum in them, written in. I mean, I once got Jane Eyre and someone had underlined a bunch of lines with commentary...
I get that way sometimes, where I can't stand to even look at the book's cover it's so horrible, but it's usually a school book that I have to go back to, or I look at it later and think "Maybe it'll get better" and end up reading it all the way through even if it doesn't get better.
Barnes and Noble is the closest and only book store around. Other than that, I go to garage sales with my grandmother to keep her company and spend time with her (she's not doing too well, she smokes about 2 packs of ciggarettes a day). They have a lot of good bargains around here. I mean...
