I'm hanging out with George Washington in the early days of the American Revolution in 1776 by David McCullough, learning new words like obstreperous. I also learned that the first Rhode Island casualty of the war was a fellow named Augustus Mumford. Poor man lost his head. I have friends who share the same surname, so I plan to talk to them about their family tree. Soon.
