I have seen this one at the stores. I don't think it is a sequel although there are supposed to be some similarities between the two books (and not just that they have the same author!)
 
In Dubious Battle by John Steinbeck. Very suspenseful and informative story about fruit pickers rebellion during depression. I think better than Grapes of Wrath.
 
The Sailor who Fell from Grace with the Sea-Yukio - I don't know what to make of this book. I felt like there should be more to it like what's the aftermath of what happened at the end. :star3:
 
The Memory Chalet - Tony Judt. Engaging recollections of the changing times and places experienced by the author along the trajectory of his varied life. Very worth reading for a noted historian's personal perspective, revealing how quickly our "present" has receded into our "recent" but distant-sounding past.
The times change quickly and life goes by swiftly. Tony Judt died in August 2010 at age 62. May he rest in peace.
