I got this off another forum, so I truly have no idea what it is, but I thought it sounded really good so I decided to post it here and see if anyone knows what it is.
"Hi..I read this book many years ago. There were four guys traveling in a train. They meet a stranger who reveals a dark...
I haven't come to this board in quite a while, and I couldn't really remember why.
Then I checked out this thread.
Talk about beating a dead horse! OK, we get it. You don't like Dan Brown's books, his research, his writing style. Fine. But maybe there are a few of us out here, who do read...
If I were you I would skip Hannibal Rising and Hannibal. Stick with Red Dragon and Silence. The others were a bit.... I don't know... I can't think of a good word to descibe them.... over done maybe. Pretentious? Or maybe just sucked. Yeah, that'll work, sucked.

Bk 1 The Wizard of Earthsea
Bk 2 The Tombs of Atuan
Bk 3 The Farthest Shore

Is it maybe Dolphin Island: A Story of the People of the Sea by Arthur C Clarke?
Late one night (in the world of the future), a giant cargo hovership makes an emergency landing somewhere in the middle of the United States, and an enterprising citizen named Johnny Clinton stows away on it. In...
No problem:) Like I said, I was just looking at his website. The bigger problem had been where to find your post:confused: , lol. I visit a lot of message boards, and couldn't remember where someone was looking for this book.
I was looking at the Richard Laymon web site and found your book.
Endless Night by Richard Laymon -
Jody Fargo is a cop's daughter, sweet sixteen but tougher than she looks. She's sleeping over at her friend Evelyn's house when the killers break in. She sees Evelyn spitted on a spear by a...
Since I'm bored and have nothing much to do, I've been searching Amazon. I found a few possibilities.
