    Books you'd never let your kids read....

    I wouldn't ban children from reading any books.. when I was young, my father made me explain the book to him, and he quizzed me on books, he didn't think were suitable for my age to read. Him quizzing me, probably made me want to read them more, to prove a point to him, that i did understand...

    Recently Purchased/Borrowed

    ERmmm utter rubbish on my latest purchase: 5 books in the Casey Jones Mystery series by Katy Munger 2 romantic vampire stories by Lynsay Sands... a nice couple of weeks of easy reading :)

    Anne Rice books... my are in such a state.. probably due to dropping them while in the bath :o but I just love them!

    God i read all those types... loved em... stacks of enid blyton books in my parents attic. I read Nancy Drew and the boy ones similar to that.. hardy boys? hehe and jackie collins.. I think my dad nearly had a heart attack when he saw me reading those! :p

    Prowlers - Christopher Golden, read the 1st 2 books... just started the 3rd one in the series. Very good so far.. don't want to put it down.. shame book is sooooo heavy!

    Well i don't want something too scarey.. got far too much of a vivid imagination.. might wake up screaming! but i do like the style they are written in, I also love the farie aspect in the merry ones... I'll have a look at those ones you've put down... thanks!

    What do you use as a bookmark?

    If the book it hardback and have cover to it, I tend to use that tatty paperback get rough treatment and have corner folded down.. soo bad I know The worst thing i have used i an envalope.. stuck it in my mouth then glued lips to it :mad:

    Well I've got 3 book cases in this house, a wardroom with boxes at my parents still, and also i've invaded their attic with a few boxes... I just don't like throwing them out. Specially ones from my childhood.... Some were my parents, and I know if I have children I'll be passes them along, and...
