What is prose, verse, and everything else?

I would suggest rpgfreak that you read the works of one Arthur Conan Doyle. He wrote some amazing prose. His most amazing book, containing his most amazing prose, would be, The Hound of the Baskervilles, which he wrote in 1902. It's amazing. I really suggest you check it out.

What goes into a good Travel book?

I like a travel guide that tells me where the important nooks and crannies of a place lie. Like good quality whore houses, local moonshine distilleries, burlesque theatres and 24-hour book shops which sell The Hound of the Baskervilles in case I accidentally mislay one of the several copies...

mystery (kellerman) - who killed the woman?

Another mystery which is worth re-reading - possibly more than just the once - is The Hound of the Baskervilles by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. It's not particularly complex, but it is a rich and truly rewarding masterpiece of fiction.

    recommend me fails

Have you read The Hound of the Baskervilles? One could argue that the greatest of chosen ones, hope, is absent for a great deal of this book; it's defeated in spirit by disdain and negativity. Yours faithfully, Guy.

    Vote for May 2012 BOTM - Tie-break

My dear friends, I trust I didn't come to this little soiree too late. If so, you must forgive my less than fastidious attention to calendar details. I just wanted to point out that there is a third option in this tie-break situation which you seem to have encountered, and which has...

    Vote for March 2012 BOTM

I concur with Will. Whoever created the above account is obviously of low moral fibre and started said faux-account merely to get people to vote for their preferred book. That's an underhand tactic, and is terrible.

    Greetings all

I've decided I don't like it here and won't be staying. There's a distinct smell of halibut in the air and your lack of enthusiasm for the amazing book The Hound of the Baskervilles fills me with a great sense of ennui. Good day to you all. Guy.
