I'd have to say The Da Vinci Code. :D .JUST KIDDING!!!! Maybe I just have this book in my head because I just finished it but I would have to say Sophie's World.......
I would also recommend The Story of Philosophy by Bryan Magee which I picked up the last time I went to the museum. It's illustrated and it's an easy but informative read.
I agree! I'm currently reading it- I have a chapter or so left. It's educational while still being entertaining. As I've been reading it I've found myself stopping to THINK about what I just read.
Yep, same problem here...I'd say around 35-40 here. Ok here I guess I'll start....
ahem(clears throat) :o my name is Nicole and I have a book addiction....

"I often wonder how different my life might have been if Lisa Fennell had not made her dramatic entry into it; and I marvel that if people had not been in a certain place at the same moment they might never have been aware of each other's existence and their lives would have taken an entirely...

unfortunately i don't remember the name of the story or the author :o :o but I do remember the story... I hope someone can help you because I'd be interested to know also as I would like to read it again...
ok...ahem...
I hate it when people start yakking away about their lives while I'm reading..I mean if I ask then fine but don't interrupt me!
I also hate when people fold back the pages of a paperback and the pages stay bent like that.
I also hate when I have a book open in my lap and my...
I recently read Rule Of Four and I really didn't think to much of the ending...it seemed kind of jumbled. Anyway, yes I do think Paul survived. The whole package- painting and everything made me think of Paul. Paul always likened himself to Joseph. I think it was Paul's way of saying that he...
I'm 20 years old and I love to read. I may not be correct but I like to think (and so does my mother) that my love of reading stems from the fact that my mom read to me from the time I was an infant and she started buying me books when I was a toddler(not that I could read them of course)...
Sometimes I'll pick up a copy of Archaeology magazine at the bookstore...the articles can be pretty good-but not always. I also had a subscription to Renaissance magazine (haven't been able to find that at any newsstand or bookstore) and it's actually a really good magazine. :o
