Gabriella.

Gabriella, ’neath the trees
Her black curves shiny, sleek as jet.
She’s ticking, talking as she cools
Listen . . . hear her fan whirr . . .
Purring for you, as you gasp and sweat
Speed in her beauty
Squeeze the breeze

Now, that is poetry :)

< Freedom Designs Columnpod – great name for a Band >

Gabriella: delicious, lip-trembling, tongue-rolling name. Don’t laugh. Say it slowly. Aloud. Gabriella. Gabrrrrri-ell-LA (tongue-flick).

[Incidentally, I’m reading Gabriel Garcia Marquez at the moment, simply because I fell in love with the author’s name. But don’t send me a photo – I know he looks like a Spanish squid-basher.]

PS Yes, you can quote me (to be honest, the poem was not only to honour the car, but to point out to a certain Dutchman that cars have feelings.

Garcia Marquez rules.

Have you read One hundred years of Solitude ? It is wonderful!!

Now that we are really off subject, I really like to say "Antonio Banderas."

Spanish names are just so much more romantic sounding.

Not yet. But I'll take your advice and read it. I'm currently reading 'Of Love and Other Demons'. :)

Third Man Girl

I LOVE Marquez :) He is my fav author

Of Love and Other Demons is a great one! I loved that book, it's simply wonderful. It's so poetic! It's poetry in prose! Poetry in motion! Words dancing and your heart spinning with the words. He is a master story teller and a poet. I LOVE him! You must read 100 years It's REALLY a work of genius and you can't say that about many things in this world! Read more!!! :)

I have love in the time of cholera on my bookshelf begging me to open her pages :) I won't be satisfied till I have devoured everything by him and licked my fingers :)

Then, of course, there's Italian. But don't get me started . . . ;)

Come to think of it. Just about anything beats Jim Smith

<sorry to all Jim Smiths >

Yes, they are romantic sounding! There is a character in the book that TMG is reading now called Maria de todo los angeles Translates: Maria of all the angels :)
