Originally we were promised 13 episodes all together, but several of the leading cast has passed away, and Lars von Trier is hasting off to new horizons. So for the time being, there is no plans of making the last 5 episodes. :(

I know that the rights have been sold to Stephen King and, apparently it's being shown (with rewritten parts) on ABC in America. It's been called: Stephen King's Kingdom Hospital. Stephen King's, yeah, right!

Jeg elsker filmen på Lars von Trier.

But von Trier is anything but predictable, so you never know.... :)

Indeed. He'd no doubt remake it with naked doctors, none of the original cast, with each scene repeated from different angles, and called Riget III. :D

P.S. Did I get my Dansk right? It's been a few years since I was last there?

Almost. The right way would be: Jeg elsker Lars von Triers version af filmen.

(that was a very good try, by the way) :)

On a different note, I am with you on the Stephen King - thing. Why is it, that americans insist on making remakes of foreing films - in stead of just showing the original. I know the Americans generally hate subtitles, but hey! They could learn, couldn't they?

:p Personally have nothing against sub titles. Resent being damned  , though I'd be in good company :)

*contiues mexican wave which has got lost in the milling crowds*

you should see 'full metal jacket', hobbit. it'll knock your socks off.
Agreed, especially the first part.

I had a Matrix Marathon today, and I don't care what anyone says, it's a fantastic trilogy!

Cheers, Martin

Gee, Guys - I don't know.

A little too much "guys' stuff", I think. :(

Matrix is way over my head. Tried to see it with my nephew. Fell asleep.

*Whispering* Sorry guys! :)

I think the matrix trilogy is really awesome. if you can overlook some of the melodrama, there's a lot of good zen lessons.

I loved the first two. Am watching the second one tomorrow so it better be good. Hobbit how did you manage to fall asleep!
