I just got mine about an hour and a half ago. But when we got home I had to help out with getting ready to go to Minnesota, so I didn't get to start reading right away. I'm on the third chapter now. It's great.
This'll probably be my last post until about the 24th, so bye everyone!
In Montana, they are going to move the age of a complete liscence from 15 to 18. I'm going to turn 14 in about a month. I could possibly take Drivers Training this year after school on Wednesdays but I think that will be my last chance. They're changing it next year. I was planning on taking it...
I can't stand it! I want the book now. I can't wait any longer! (The sad thing is, I'll be in Blaine, Minnesota when it comes out, and I live in Billings, Montana!)
This weekend our soccer team (Magic City Red U-13A Girls) won the state championship (of Montana)! We're the top A team in the state. We won all our games. We'll get to play the AA team next weekend (they placed 2nd in the AA tourney). Beating them means we're close to the top team in the state...
In history we're studying the time period right before the war and for my project I want to build a cotton gin. I've looked on the web for instructions, but all I can find is that there's a cylender that rotates and some wire teeth that pull out the cotton. Does anyone know how to make one?
Tomorrow is the Battle of the Books (BOB) tourney at my school.
BOB is a club where there's 16 books that your team (3-4 people make up a team) has to read. Then there's a school tourney where you're asked a bunch of questions about the books.
For instance if the question...
Today I went to a math competition with seven other students at my school and 96 other kids from Billings, Montana and surrounding areas (such as Laurel and Livingsten). There were two individual tests and one team test. The top four teams and the top two individuals go to state on March 7. I...
You know, it's amazing but today's Super Bowl Sunday, and no one has done a thread on it.
Anyway, I'm doing a poll to see which team will win, and the score.
Here's my guess:
Eagles-30 Patriots-17
Eagles - 2
Patriots - 1
...how does this sound:
He was all alone. It was so dark he couldn't see a thing. But yet, he kept on moving. Creeping as silently as he could through the thick woods.
He couldn't remember what happened. One minute he was sitting happily around the campfire, laughing with the others, and...
Bob, Fred, and Jack went to an out-of-town convention. Bob had a really nice red car that they took. When the convention was done, Bob said, "Oh no! I think I left my keys in the car!" And sure enough, when they got to the car, the keys were right there in the ignition.
Fred said, "Well, why...
I got a great e-mail that had a bunch of Jeff Foxworthy's 'You Might Be A Montanan If' jokes on it. They're kind of like the 'You Might Be A Redneck If' jokes, only about Montanans. They're great!
You Might Be A Montanan If...

Who has inspired you to write? Did you read any books so good that they made you want to write? Do your parents or anyone you know write? Or have you just always enjoyed writing?
For me I'd have to say it was reading books. I read some books by David Eddings and Terry Brooks to get me...
Hi, everyone! What is your favorite sport? How often do you play it? What's your favorite position (if there is any)?
My favorite sport is soccer and I play it during the spring, summer and fall. My favorite position is keeper.
I love books that have maps.(I'm talking about fiction books mainly) That way you can trace the route of the characters and you know their surroundings, where they're going, and basically where everything is. What do you think?
I also like drawing maps for my books. I guess it started in 5th...
So, What do you think of him?
I think he's a great writer. We had to read Dogsong as a summer assignment for enriched english class and it was awesome!
