First I'd send some money to my family in the Philippines so they can make some improvements to our province and then my family and I, here in America, would establish a cute little internation restaurant.
A little spur-of-the-moment "poem" I wrote a few nights ago, titled Contagious:

Notes of infatuation dominate my concept of love.
I grace the covers

City of Dreams by Beverly Swerling.
This novel follows the early history of Nieuw Amsterdam (later named New York). You won't get bored with the historical stuff b/c most of the book follows the dramatic saga of a family; the American saga of pride and ambition, love and lust, love and hate...
I'm sure the book is lovely, but yeah, you're right... i'm lazy and haven't made the effort to look for the book yet. But I promise I'll look for it this weekend when I visit my local B&N's ;)
i'll admit it: i am not well read. usually i only read novels when i am required to for school :-/ (i write alot though). recently i've been trying to read more on my spare time so i can be more productive instead of brainwashing myself in front of the tv or... this computer lol. but yeah... i...

Well, unfortunately, I haven't seen Finding Neverland yet. I've heard so much about it and people have been saying that it was really really good and it'll make you cry. Hopefully I'll get the chance to watch it this weekend and add more input of the movie. Hmmm... Jonny Depp is the hottest old...
Hi guys! I'm a 16 year old female, living in San Antonio, Texas. I'm interested in reading fiction, true crime, comical, and action/adventure type of novels. Today I just posted something in the fiction section of the forum.
It's refreshing to finally be part of a more intellectual corner of...
The Great Gatsby
My brief, but comprehensive analysis ;-) (I hope those aren't oxymorons):
There are mixed feelings towards The Great Gatsby. Some feel it is meaningless and focuses too much on the futile preoccupation of the characters; others feel that it is strictly a romance novel that...
